Arsenal women
As the previous version went down so well and I still only know one person on here and I want to shout it loud!

About two years ago I posted as my 16 year old daughter had just made her Arsenal Women u21 debut. Two years later, a couple of days after her 18th and having spent the season on loan at a third tier club, tonight she made her Arsenal WSL debut in the last few minutes against Brighton

If I was buzzing two years ago I’m through the roof now! I can’t stop grinning.

If he still lurks here shout out to Gregan who was a big influence early on and started her on her way out of grassroots. Cheers for that.

And just to stop any moans about the lack of West Ham she’s still a season ticket holder in the Billy Bonds stand.

Re: Arsenal women
Great news and you must be really proud. However ….. will she be signing for/and what are the chances of her signing for West Ham?

Re: Arsenal women
Good for you mate, it makes all the effort and sacrifice you put in raising her all worthwhile! I recently learnt that an old school mate of mine has a son in our u-18's side, it must be fucking incredible to have that going on in your life. 'Proud' would be an understatement.

Re: Arsenal women
Well done mate - must be a great feeling and all credit to her, that’s a very high level. Seen a couple of Arsenal WCL games this year in between our fixtures with my daughter who’s started playing and enjoying it while at uni. Good set up there.

Congrats- that's fantastic news and absolutely no mean feat to get into that squad, knowing they are one of the top few teams in the WSL. You must be exceptionally proud.

Was the debut initiation to be dipped in honey and thrown to the lesbians in the team bath?

Congrats to her and you.

Tell their management to get some Canadians in. They'll do even better.

Fantastic achievement. Many young girl footballers dream. Congrats to you all. Well deserved and this is just the start. Super goal at the weekend as well.

Oh, and she dealt with that interview question 'growing up as a gooner' expertly in the context!

Cheers. She was completely thrown by that it the heat of the moment. She’s going to speak to the media bloke and set him straight so they don’t run with it.

Re: Arsenal women
Congrats - that's great news.

My daughter plays for the youth side of one of the women's pro clubs but to be frank I'd be astonished if she made it. She's always the best in her local league but the step up is so enormous. So your daughter must be an amazing player. :-)
